A playlist is a list of songs and their order. The term was originally and initially used for the arrangement of music tracks during radio shows.
The M3U format is an open format to display playlists on players and PCs and to play music tracks automatically in a certain order. Additional header and metadata provide information on performer, genre, length etc. and allow the organization of music files by category.
In the library browser of Gemafreie Welten a playlist is generated by the order of the music tracks in the respective categories. This allows you to load and listen to tracks in our data base quickly and conveniently in our playlist.
