"OGG Vorbis"

Released for official use in 2002, OGG is an audio format developed by the Xiph.Org Foundation as an alternative to the rights managed MP3 format. It allows users to compress audio and video content and stream them with up to 255 channels. The best known format is probably the Vorbis Audio Codec, which is often confused with OGG, although OGG is a container format for Vorbis encoded content.
Although OGG has become well established in the IT sector, Microsoft has not implemented a support for it yet, which means OGG is not yet available for all players.
