"Sound recording/Dubbing"

Sound recording or dubbing is a process during the post production of a medium where music, sounds, atmos and soundscapes are added. For example, films require a post-dubbing of individual dialogues if the circumstances on the film set did not allow an excellent sound recording. During the process of dubbing, sound effects and sounds are replaced or added to achieve a consistent and aestheticized sound.
Music is, of course, the most important element. It conveys the mood and the atmosphere, enhances emotions and influences the audience's evaluation of certain situations. Music is particularly important in advertising films as they aim to convey a brand message, achieve a recognition and differentiation of a product among customers, and represent the whole company including its audio CI and the attached image. Another form of sound recording is processing literary texts for a piece of music like a song or an opera. The process of transforming literary pieces of art to music was especially common in the Christian and occidental music tradition. Classical music, especially Baroque, dubbed choral music with bible verses. In the era of Romanticism a lot of poems and other literary texts were transformed into songs.
